Surgical Pathology 2013: The Weill Cornell NYC Course

The course consists of two and a half days of lectures. It will be held at the New York Academy of Sciences located at 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich St, 40th Fl, New York, NY 10007-2157, Phone: (212) 298-8615.

Tuition

The registration fee is $675 (for Pathologists) and $425 (for Pathologists in training), which includes the course materials, continental breakfast and coffee breaks. The fee does not include travel, housing or other meals.

Registration can be completed on-line, at the main page of the Department web site: www.cornellpathology.org. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. When paying by check, it must be in U.S. currency and drawn on a U.S. Bank, made payable to the WCMC/Pathology Dept. International participants can contact us directly for our wire transfer information. When registering, please be sure to use a complete mailing address.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, the course fee is refundable less a $125 service charge. A front and back copy of your cancelled check must be submitted for a refund. After September 16, 2013, no refunds will be possible and no exceptions of any kind can be honored.

Weill Cornell Medical College is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Weill Cornell Medical College designates this live activity for a maximum of 19.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Credit for attendance at the regularly scheduled lectures are granted on an hour for hour basis and will be indicated at the bottom of the course certificate, which will be mailed to you 6 weeks after the program.

PATH

Fares on the PATH system are $1.75 per trip (pay-per-ride MetroCards are accepted at each station). Service to the World Trade Center is available from Newark Penn Station, Jersey City, and Hoboken in New Jersey. When you arrive at WTC, the Vesey Street exit will put you just in front of 7 World Trade Center.

La Guardia Airport
Taxis cost between $18-$28 and take about 20-40 minutes. Group rides are generally available at the dispatch lines outside the baggage claim areas. Group fares are about $10.

John F. Kennedy Airport
Taxis cost about $30-$40, and the trip takes about an hour. Yellow cabs into Manhattan must provide a flat fare of $45 plus any tolls. The meter will not be turned on, and the night surcharge will not be added. If passengers request multiple stops, the flat rate of $45.00 will be collected at the first stop in Manhattan, and the meter will be turned on for the remainder of the trip. The metered fare should be collected at the last stop, from the last passenger. You may find out more information about taxi fares in New York at the Taxi and Limousine Commission Web site.

Newark Airport
Taxis cost $30-$40, plus tolls, and the trip takes about 45 minutes. Group rates are available.
